20,000 Guineas Tattersalls October yearling purchase ALPHA DELPHINI wins a fabulous renewal of the GROUP 1 Nunthorpe Stakes at York’s Ebor meeting.
Trainer Bryan Smart was adamant the horse should run at York as he thought he had him in the form of his life. Bryan had also trainer his half-brother Tangerine Trees to win the Group 1 Prix de l’Abbeye at Longchamp on Arc day. Bryan will now look at winning the Prix de l’Abbeye again if the ground is suitable.
