Oliver purchased the mare HAZARIYA in 2014 for €480,000 for regular client Newsells Park Stud – She is now the dam of that rare racehorse – a dual Derby winner – with HARZAND having won the Epsom Derby and the Irish Derby. Newsells Park decided to retain her two fillies born with them, 2015 by Fastnet Rock and her 2016 by Dansili as future broodmares for the stud.
The decision was made to offer 14 year old HAZARIYA in-foal to Invincible Spirit at Tattersalls December Sales where she realized a tidy profit when selling for 2 million Guineas to the bid of MV Magnier of Coolmore Stud & Markus Jooste of Mayfair Speculators.
