Second Half 2025/Winter 2026

Oliver St Lawrence Bloodstock is celebrating a strong second half of the 2025 season and winners in the Middle East over the Winter too. A season which ended with 5 Black Type winners in Europe including a Group 1 and 14 novice winners purchased between Oliver & Arthur ready to go onto bigger and better things in 2026.

There were four Group Winners purchased between Oliver and Arthur in the second half of the year, heading by the fantastic Consent, purchased as a yearling by Oliver for trainer Sir Mark Prescott, who won the G1 Qatar Prix De Royallieu by four and a half lengths. She will remain in training for 2026. Tadej, who’s dam Tilly Frankl was purchased by Oliver with Tadej in Utero, won the Group 3 Prix Du Cabourg. He also placed in the Group 2 Prix Robert Papin. Internationally it was strong as well, with Jupiter, purchased by Arthur as a foal, winning the local Group 1 Pakistan Derby & Government Call winner the Local Group 2 Belgrade Vojvoda Blagoje.

There is also plenty to look forward to in the 2026 season, with 14 promising novice winners ready to step up in grade in 2026. The most promising was Saber Strike, who won his Redcar Novice by 5 lengths for trainer William Haggas and owners Victorious Forever. Other particularly exciting names to mention are Aequitas, Castle Rock, Warrior’s Whisper, She Commands, From The Hip & Lethal Beauty.

The Middle East winter season was also characteristically strong for Oliver St Lawrence too. Signalman won the Bahrain Vision Cup, A Bahrain Series race, while Force and Valour won and placed at Meydan. No Retreat won the Bahrain Mile, A local Group 1, and the excellent Calif, winner of over a million pounds of prize money and a group 1 since being purchased by Oliver in 2023, showed no signs of slowing down in winning twice including the Listed H.H Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa Cup, a race sponsored by his owner Victorious Racing, and coming third in the Group 3 Kings Cup.
