Classic win in Premio Parioli

Mehmas 3 year old colt FAYATHAAN took the Group 3 Premio Parioli (Italian 2,000 Guineas) at Rome over a mile on his first ever start in Italy.

Purchased for £36,000 at Goffs UK Premier yearling sale having been lead out of the ring unsold at £42,000. He won 3 races in the U.K. over 6 & 7 furlongs before a move to Italy. He seems to be on the upgrade.

ROHAAN takes out the Pavilion Stakes, Group 3

Three year old ROHAAN continued his winning ways when taking the Group 3 Pavilion Stakes at Ascot over 6 furlongs. A £36,000 yearling buy at Goffs UK Premier Sale off Liam Phelan, he has now won 5 starts and risen from an official handicap mark of 55 to 106. The only way is up!

Highly Progressive NAAMOOS Wins Esher Cup

Good looking 3 year old colt NAAMOOS looks destined for better things when taking the field apart from the front on the Esher Cup at Sandown over 8 furlongs.

Always highly thought of by trainer Mark Johnston, this son of Wootton Bassett was top weight in this competitive handicap off 98 but left the field for dead to win by an ultra impressive 6 lengths, with a further 5 lengths to the third. He has since been raised by the official handicapper to 110. He was struck in to behind during the early part of the race and we will just have to hope that the injury is not serious and does not hold him up for long.

He was a €110,000 yearling purchase at Arqana August sale from Haras de Bourgeauville for Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Fawzi Nass.
