Eldar Eldarov on Sunday followed up his win in the Doncaster St Leger by taking the Irish St Leger at the Curragh. Given a brilliant ride by David Egan, he stayed on strongly to secure a convincing 3 1/2 length victory leaving multiple Group 1 winner Kyprios is second. Eldar, purchased from the Arqana Breeze Ups at Doncaster 2021, thoroughly deserved his second Group 1 victory and will be aiming at many more.
