Oliver St Lawrence Bloodstock has had a brilliant start to the season – already including 3 Black Type and two placing’s in Group 1 Races.
Duty First won the Group 3 Fred Darling Stakes & then followed that up with a fantastic 4th Place in the Classic Group 1 Irish 1000 Guineas, only Four Lengths behind winner Lake Victoria.
Dilawar has been in flying form retaining all of his ability having already won two listed races this year – most recently seen winning the 24th May winning the Listed Grand Prix De Bordeaux, his fourth pattern race win since being purchased by Oliver St Lawrence Bloodstock. Oliver also had two other winners that day, with Goal Exceeded winning at the Curragh on Irish 2000 Guineas Day and Watch And Shoot winning at Catterick.
In France there was an exciting winner with the Lerner trained We’ll Defend winning her debut by 6 lengths, setting herself up for an exciting season.
Calif has also had a great update coming third in the Group 1 FWD QEII Cup in Hong Kong, taking his total prize money up to $1.5 million since he was purchased by Oliver St Lawrence.
Arthur Dobell also had success in the sales ring, with the mare All Back To Mine, purchased by Arthur for just 1,500 Guineas, having her 2yo by Havana Grey (a cover advised by Arthur) selling for 650,000 Guineas at the Tattersalls Craven Sale.
